Small Group benefits #295

February 13, 2014

I just finished speaking on arrogance (from Daniel 5). I was reminded again and yet another way of the value in having a group of people who you meet with on a regular basis and who know you well. They can and should serve you well in keeping a check on your pride. I know that’s how it has been in my life.

But ironically enough, they also provide a counter-balance, too, in that they not only keep you more humble, but they also boost self-esteem. It is nice to know there’s a group of people out there that not only know you, but that like you.
